This sounds just beautiful. Growers are the unsung heroes of flower.
But honestly, I think my personality is unsuited to growing things well. My best friend, loves to grow, anything,is good at it, and he has been doing with growing what I have been doing with concentrates — learning and experimenting– so we will team up. His home grown, and my garage processing.
That’s a good-looking closed-loop there…. Good price too! 😎
I’ve noticed one can spend as much as one wants on this sort of equipment. I intend to spend as little as possible yet maintaining a minimal acceptable level of operational safety with say a 1/4lb batch capacity.
My plan has me buying one by the end of February, experimenting in March, and a successful “EconDab” batch ready by the time I take my big 2-month train trip next summer.
I suppose that doing bubble hash first….and doing quality full melt type bubble hash….a lot of that gets left behind.
We don’t have live rosin available here yet….somebody will do it as they are starting to make bubble hash of some unknown quality, but yeah…I would expect it to be pretty clean.
The commercial concentrates, I’m getting now are damn clean….I use my Liger with Obsidian insert for my squished rosin as the Obsidian seems to be impervious to dirt. A drop of water at 200 F and it q-tips out immediately
How much that live rosin going for on the gray market, do you think?
I have been buying the cystallized THC-A that is for sale here…was on sale the other day for $56/gram! I like to put just a bit on some flower and vape it. Really adds to the kick.
